Giving willingly with our heart indicates that when something is given, it is not thought of as an obligation, or used as a means to cure some feeling of guilt, caused by misapplication or misunderstanding of scriptures. Freewill giving can only occur from the heart that has deep love for their neighbor. Sometimes people believe giving money shows how much they love others. However, when you willingly give of your time to help others; using a skill you have, offering transportation to an elderly neighbor, volunteering to give out food and clothing at a shelter, or even help prepare meals at one; then you are giving of your love from your heart to whatever you are doing.
