“When you pray, you shall not act like the hypocrites are, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on street corners, so they can be seen by people. I truthfully tell you, ‘They have their reward.’ But you, when you pray, go into your secret chamber, close the door, and pray to your Father Who is in the secret place. Your Father, Who sees into the secret place, will reward you openly. 

And when you pray, do not use useless babbling like the heathen do, because they think that they shall be heard because of their long-winded speeches. Therefore, do not act like them yourselves, because your Father knows what things you need before you ask Him. You, therefore, pray like this:

‘Our Father, Who is in heaven! Holy is Your Name. Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day, our daily bread. Forgive us our faults, like we forgive our trespassers. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil: Because the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, For kingship, are yours forever. Amen.

For if you forgive others their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you;  but if you do not forgive others their offenses, your heavenly Father will not forgive your offenses.
